The Great Renovation continues this week with a full complement of tradesmen for carpentry, masonry, insulation, mechanical, electrical and site work. The north entrance vestibule canopy pad was poured, water and waste lines were installed in the ADA bathroom at north foundation and stubbed through the historic foundation wall into the basement, window and door openings in the brick walls adjoining the south addition into the stack area of the first and second floors were cut in, insulation was blown in at the first floor stack room north wall, south addition stair tower work continued trimming landings, installing temporary handrails along with blocking for permanent handrails, adding sheetrock in the elevator shaft, mechanical rough-in for ductwork and heating system piping and electrical rough-in for power and lighting circuits throughout. Was a busy week!
