The Great Renovation continues these past two weeks (I was out of town last week and apologize for not posting) with brick removal on the south wall to expose the first floor wood sill in order to infill rotted areas, wall framing on the interior for room layouts, interior insulation installation in the first and second floor 1967 addition, new concrete floor slab pour in book sale area of the basement, installation of the new stainless steel chimney so the boiler can be started to provide tenant heat, temporary relocation of the incoming power pole and power lines to enable the new addition to move forward without conflict. New windows in the 1967 addition are now complete. With the brick removal and sill repair on the south side in progress, the new addition concrete foundation and walls should begin this next week. With good weather this next week the south addition progress should be evident!
